Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Crew Lead to join our dynamic team. As a Landscape Crew Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of our landscape crew, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of landscape crew members, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the successful execution of projects.
  • Plan and organize daily work schedules, assigning tasks and responsibilities to crew members based on their skills and experience.
  • Supervise and participate in various landscaping activities, including but not limited to planting, trimming, mowing, fertilizing, irrigation system installations, and hardscape construction.
  • Ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment, ensuring proper functionality and addressing any repair or maintenance needs promptly.
  • Evaluate job sites and develop strategies for efficient workflow, resource utilization, and meeting project deadlines.
  • Collaborate with clients, providing excellent customer service, addressing any concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project.
  • Maintain accurate records of projects, including materials used, time spent, and progress made.
  • Train crew members on proper techniques, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, professionalism, and a strong work ethic among crew members.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in landscaping, with at least 2 years working in a crew leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of landscaping techniques, equipment, materials, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving project goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, crew members, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining various landscaping equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and physically demanding situations.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
